ATRA 40/ ATRA 40V is a safety helmet compliant with the EN397 standard that provides head protection against injuries resulting from falling or moving objects. Additionaly, the non- vented version of the helmet (ATRA 40, without external visor) passes both EN397 and EN50365 standard in terms of electrical insulation - it protects against accidental, short-term contact with a live conductor up to 440V AC and against electric shock up to 1000V AC or 1500V DC*.
Helmet can be equipped with external, visors: ATRA S40, ATRA S41 or ATRA S42 that can be attached to the helmet shell by using special adapters.
The shell of the helmet is equipped with 30mm adapters that allow the installation of additional equipment such as ear protectors or face shields.
The chin strap is attached to the helmet shell at 4 points. The supporting straps are attached to the helmet shell at 6 points.
The adjustment mechanism can be easily adapted to the size of the user's head. By turning the knob clockwise, the circumference of the harness is reduced. Rotation in the opposite direction increases its circumference.
Depending on the version, full assembly of the helmet weight 430g (without visor) or 520g (with external visor).
*when using with an external visor ATRA S40/ ATRA S41/ ATRA S42 helmet has no longer electro insulating properties.
